He's slower than me, but has a better wedge and can deal good damage with the hammer, so flank 4head. my chassis wedges are still shock mounted and can get under anything that isnt 2wd, so I can effectively use them as a flat wedge to assist with the angle at close range, while still threatening a longer range with the forks.

and yeah that's really it: angle in, come at him from the sides, fake him out, use funny angles, etc. just don't engage facing forewards. other than that, I have a flipper, and there's OOTA zones.

if he does wedge me, drive further onto his bot. I slightly win the pushing battle (equal torque when lifted, better speed), and if im on the lower half of his hammer (or lodged just at the base of it), he can't hit me with it at all - major design flaw with this sorta hammer. he'll end up either not having enough startup torque if im on just the bottom of it to flip me, or he'll hit my wedge with the shaft before he hits me with the swinging weight. if it's a full lock-up on the wedge war, then I guess back off sooner, but I can j-hook any time right after he fires his hammer, so he can't get in a parting shot.

be as aggressive as is prudent: dont overextend, but dont give him space.
