SIGN UP INFORMATION -

This is a middleweight tournament, so bring out your best middleweights that you have out there and prepare to the crap outta your opponents with your 120-pound bot&#33;

The tournament will be a single-elimination, with a match for third place.

As per usual, the robots will have 30 points to be divided in these catagories:

Speed
Traction
Torque
Weapon
Armor

ROLEPLAY RULES -

> We will be using Cherry Bomb Classic saw rules, MonkeyWrench multibot rules, and ROBOTS hammer rules.

> As similar to Robotic Bastards 2, we will have a 500 word limit, mainly to prevent writers from writing a book on how good their robot is. I quite frankly like the quick jotting down of your strategies.

> Use proper grammar and spelling, if i cant understand what you're saying--there's no need to be mad.

> Same rules to normal combat robotics apply, non-tethered projectiles, entanglement devices, liquids, etc. are not allowed. Hovercrafts and flying robots are not allowed, although you are allowed to have one drone.

> Be a good sportsman, follow proper roleplay etiquette, and have fun&#33;

THE ARENA -

Image

A fairly large arena, roughly measuring 50x50, the starts are at the corners of the arena, to make boxrushing a bit difficult.

The arena walls measure around 3 feet tall, so flippers with the power of around 5+ can OOTA.

The arena is mostly hazard-less, but there is the robot-wars style pit that lowers halfway through the match. Watch out&#33;

The 'Shroom of Doom

4wd "tuna-can" spinner (only the top spins) with a many-segmented hinged skirt surrounding the outside. Each wheel is attached to its own independent suspension, like F5 had back in the day.

2WD vertical spinning bar. Bar rotation is reversible, the wedges are shaped to work upside down, and it's an awkward shape. Wheeeeee&#33;

*since I've been asked about this before: no, the bar is not transparent, it's just very reflective :v:

MW- Upchuck III

Image

A major tweak from the shape of Upchuck, the "fattiness" of the previous two versions have cut down and has become slimmer and much more agile. The flipper has the similar look to the previous versions so it can be recognizable.

Stats:

Speed: 6
Traction: 6
Torque: 2

CBC saw rules? This looks like a job for Scarpath. I'll post the picture when I have time (that or you can just find it in the submission center if you can't wait :v: )

Here we go. With a deadly saw and an even more deadly paint job, its <big>Scarpath&#33;</big>
Image

2WD sawbot, complete with a neon green dustpan to blind the drivers :v:

The wheels are "floating", or in other words, are on suspensions. This means that it won't get high ended or high centered. I laugh at your wedges :v:

Unlike most saw designs, this one focuses on armor and drivetrain, instead of KO potential. The entire back is protected by a rear "bumper", which can absorb hits from spinners. It also puts feeder wedges at a disadvantage, for when they get under the back of Scarpath, all they'll be hitting is flat surface (which never leads to a KO). The saw arm oj the front can also be swapped, switching from a slow, eletric lifting arm, to a fast, spring loaded arm, which can deal damage quickly.

Stats?
Speed: 7
Traction: 5
Armor: 9
Weapon: 6 (5 saw, 1 arm)
Torque: 3

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

<del>Safe Space. Coming soon to a tournament near you.</del> Turns out not this tournament. Instead, I'll go with something a bit less audacious:

<big><big>OSIRIS</big></big>

Image

It's an ultra-low near-360 lifter with the saw directly attached to the lifter. Osiris covers an enormous area of the floor, though the majority of its weight is in the rear section. The saw assembly is removable, in which case the unused weapon points are put into an armour bonus that applies to the remaining weaponry (the lifter). The pyramids are designed to high-side opponents trapped in the pseudo-dustpan, especially combined with the slats. They are also removable, but shouldn't eat a lot of damage due to their shallow slope and consequent lack of hard corners. The plow, on the other hand, is very steep so as to be able to beat other wedges in leverage battles. It can be lifted to reveal a toothed wedge beneath, before clamping down on opponents.

Stats

Configuration One:

8 speed / 6 traction / 2 torque / 7 weapon (5 lifter / 5 saw) / 7 armour (+1 lifter)

Configuration Two:

8 speed / 6 traction / 2 torque / 5 weapon / 9 armour (+3 lifter)

I have the stats right, yeah?
Mastodon... Extinction (HW)
Osiris... Armageddon! (MW)
Elrathia... ROBOTS (LW)
Magnolia Pico... Ruination 4 (MW)
RipTide... ROBOT2 (FW)
Black Diamond... Cherry Bomb Classic 3 (HW)
MADSCIENCE... ROBOTS 3 (LW)
Abyss... ROBOTS 3 (MW)

The Monsterworks: 214-57 (.790) ...Probably up to no good.
Cherry Bomb Classic IV: 25-4
Finishing Move: 6-2
Magnolia Pico: 6-1
Magnolia Grande: 6-1
Glacier III: 7-0
ROBOTS 3: 21-6
Sixpounder: 3-4
MADSCIENCE: 9-1 Champion!
Abyss: 9-1 Champion!

I made a big disc and attached a robot to it. Disaster's two wheels are suspended in the chassis, so they can still reach the ground (to an extent) if it's wedged or gyroing.
