Ah, that's nice. It reminds me a lot of Spanners, from Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction.

Not entirely sure though, since as you know, I'm not exactly an expert on spinners. :v:

Weapon seems a little low. You're going to be barely damaging most bricks and don't have enough drive train to really beat them.

How about-

Speed: 6
Traction: 3
Torque: 1
Weapon: 13
Armour: 7

SHW - Valiant Steel

Image

Valiant Steel has a sword as it's main weapon, the robot itself is 2WD, the front of the robot has a wedge where it is hinged and the sword can come into play once the robot manages to get underneath the opponent. The two curved fronts have powered motors that activate the weapon it, underneath the wedge in the front are two small Omniwheels where it helps the robot turn a bit quicker. Inside the curved panels where they are next to the weapon are Co2 canisters that help increase the weapons power, the robot itself has solid armor.

Stats:
Speed: 5
Traction: 5
Torque 1
Weapon: 11
Armor: 8

it's a cool design, but I don't see a sword functioning as an effective weapon for a combat robot - swords rely on either cutting through flesh, or stabbing through gaps in people's armor. armor is a helluva lot harder than human flesh, and you aren't stabbing with it :v:

It is a very cool robot. Might I suggest keeping the sword as an anti-spinner implement (think OverKill) and also running an axe as an interchangeable setup?

MW - Precise Saunter

Image

My first ever walking robot made, it's armed with a powerful axed powered by a single gas canister, the armor is titanium steel followed by poly-carbonate side paneling protecting the legs of the robot. The wedge in front is hinged in order to get underneath the opponent and fire the weapon.

Stats:
Speed: 5
Traction 5
Armour: 11
Weapon 12
Torque: 1

Are walkers not constrained to a maximum of 9 points between speed and traction? I forget.

Also that looks like the Anarchy-style walking system, which is technically a shuffler.

Regardless, very nice.
