He, I, Madman, Wolf51-50, Sylandro, and others use TinkerCAD. It's a simple online CAD app. Just do about an hour or two of tutorials and you'll be able to make some pretty decent stuff with it.
Mastodon... Extinction (HW)
Osiris... Armageddon! (MW)
Elrathia... ROBOTS (LW)
Magnolia Pico... Ruination 4 (MW)
RipTide... ROBOT2 (FW)
Black Diamond... Cherry Bomb Classic 3 (HW)
MADSCIENCE... ROBOTS 3 (LW)
Abyss... ROBOTS 3 (MW)
The Monsterworks: 214-57 (.790) ...Probably up to no good.

I'm pretty sure these are the tutorials I started with: https://www.tinkercad.com/learn/

Killing Time is a Superheavyweight 4WD invertible ring spinner. But where are the teeth?
That's right, there are no teeth! Instead there are spring-loaded flails that come out as the ring gets up to speed. Like Expulsion from Robot Wars, only... functional.

- Speed 5
- Torque 1
- Traction 4
- Armor 6
- Weapon 14

I felt like making a robot, so here's Aquatic Robotics' newest lightweight:

Stats: Something deathspinnery, probably.

I made a thing. It started as Undertow IV and then turned into.... something else.
I call it Bitey (short for Trilobite.) The body is hinged along the pink hinge you see, with a structure lower down that restricts the rotation to... 30 degrees or so maybe? The "T" is a self-righting arm that's hinged at the bottom. It retracts all the way in. The eyes house cameras that record 3D video for later.
I see it more as a control-oriented robot: it can damage lower-armored robots but will still toss heavily-armored wedges into the air. Which reminds me: we don't have any drum spinner rules. How high does a drum spinner send an opponent into the air? Is it the same as a flipper? :ermm:

2 things -
1; vertical spinners do have a rule; they toss a robot half as high as a flipper of equivalent power would - so a 14 powered spinner would toss a robot as high as a 7 powered flipper, which would be 3.5 feet (this isn't codified apparently (probably should add it in actually :V ) but it's always been written as such for as long as I've been here)
2; so that entire rear portion is hinged? that's over half your body, and those two wheels are gonna have to drag that along with them all the time

That's a fair point: there's twice as much ground-scraping going on as with a typical 2WD robot. Maybe I'll put the rear wedge on some forks or a teflon strip or something. It's more to tank spinners than wedge things.

I've been on a robot-making binge. This one started as Undertow IV and turned into Undertow IV!
Gallery: http://imgur.com/a/nMTNE
TinkerCAD: https://tinkercad.com/things/8YqsXGevKNL
The latest in a long line of robots that try to do it all, now with the latest in TinkerCAD curvey-wedge technology. I abandoned the in-line 4WD because it's pretty useless and either confuses people or just gets ignored. Instead we've got two beefy and partially exposed wheels. The shock-mounted plow/shield/wedge/ram/whatever is the robot's signature feature, so it's still there of course. It can be removed when it's not needed, allowing Undertow to act as more of a traditional rear-hinged flipper.
New this time around is a semi-flexible plastic ring that can be attached to the top of the robot to block hammer blows. It blocks part of the stroke of the flipper and hinders self-righting, but you can't have it all. Also new is a double-pointed front end, which should help with out-wedging other wedgy robots.

undertow 3 looks better imo

I've had it up to here with your "walkers" that are really shufflers in disguise. This is what a real walker looks like fellas:
Red Menace
https://www.tinkercad.com/things/6CYxVb9Sh5u-red-menace
http://imgur.com/a/kGXgL
Four legs (actual legs) with 4 axes of movement in each (feet, 'knees', and 'hips' z- and y-axes), computer controlled for free movement in any direction. An "Iron Curtain" armored ring surrounding the robot and suspended from the main body of the robot on a flexible rubber mount. (It can be removed if the situation calls for it.) A giant hammer mounted on a turret on top of the robot for 360-degree coverage. Red Menace is here to take out more enemies of the state than Stalin.
It'd be a great house robot, but I like it too much not to enter it in a tournament (in superheavyweight of course. It's huge!)

I'm not sure if I'm done with this one yet, but I'm feeling pretty good about it:
Mega Frogbot
http://imgur.com/a/WeHJM
https://www.tinkercad.com/things/laVU87 ... ga-frogbot
It's a four-bar flipper with a hinged plow. The plot has some kind of armor bonus but isn't a powered lifter or anything. The drivetrain is giant trackballs because I haven't made one of those yet and they seem good (if cheesy.)
