Watch this space for more. Robots for R4, Robot Bastards, MonkeyWrench, and NARCO are coming soon. For now, only a little poem:

Fire is too

Well yeah, fuck you.

That wasn't too bad, actually. I'm no John Donne myself. Anyways, I'd like you to meet my little friend:

Hellhound IV

Image

Hellhound's back, stripped of all of the useless extras. He's leaner, meaner, and ready to guard the gates of Tartarus from all manner of spinner scum and anything else, really. His weapon is a 360 degree lifter and his brutally effective drive train.

Stats: 9 speed / 8 traction / 3 torque / 9 amour (+2 plow) / 1 weapon

Hellhound looks like a very solid Breaker-Box style bot, and they typically do well. One doubt I might have would be whether the plow is exceeding the 1/3 limit, it looks a bit close to that, but aside from that it's very nicely done. Good stuff, keep it up. =)

Ya, it's close. When I was designing it, it was actually a tiny bit over 1/3, so I added the bulges around the wheels for a little extra surface area to bring it under. The angles in the screenshots kind of make it look huuuge, though.

Well then, it looks like Visual Assault's going back too, along with LogJeff and a handful of others. :P

Honestly, these things are propagating everywhere because they're basically unbeatable if statted well.

I'll be real. I've never even bothered to look at it. Given that it's Ice Cubed, I probably should've assumed. :P

I stand corrected. I most definitely HAVE looked at it, and the similarities are uncanny, down to the red wheels. :P

Also, I'm the dumb Alex here, apparently, since I called LogJeff a Breaker Box clone, which I stand by. Popping a hundred extra wheels on your bot doesn't change what it fundamentally is.

By that logic, putting some legs and a spinner on something doesn't change what it fundamentally is. Glacier is obviously an Angry Goat clone :V
