As with previous years, any official questions, concerns, requests, or just, "this TO's an idiot, let's can 'im" talk related to the Cherry Bomb Classic IV go here. Whatever ends up posted on our forum is just less likely to get lost in the vortex of a discord backlog. Yes, I know that discord is great and useful, but we also have this domain that Jack spent lots of money on. Nobody wants to see him cry, so let's use it a bit, eh?

That's it. I'm sick of all this "Masterwork Vertical Spinner" bullshit that's going on in ARC right now. Crushers deserve much better than that. Much, much better than that.
I should know what I'm talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine Razer clone in the UK for £2,400,000 (that's about $2) and have been practicing driving it for almost 2 years now. I can even crush slabs of solid steel with my Razer.

British roboteers spend years working on a single Razer and increase the crushability factor up to a million times to produce the finest part bird, part reptiles known to mankind.

Crushers are thrice as sharp as American spinners and thrice as hard for that matter too. Anything a spinner can cut through, a crusher can cut through better. I'm pretty sure a crusher could easily bisect lithium polymer armament with a simple vertical squeeze.

Ever wonder why America never bothered building their own crushers? That's right, they were too scared to fight the disciplined Scotts and their nine tonnes of crushability. Even in World War II, American soldiers targeted the men with the crushers first because their killing power was feared and respected.

So what am I saying? Crushers are simply the best armament that the world has ever seen, and thus, require better stats in ARC. Here is the stat block I propose for crushers:

+4 WAB, also applied to crushing wedges, applied at 5+ Weapon
+6 weapon power bonus
cannot deal less than 1 damage on a successful grab
deals corner damage on crush
crushing speed increases proportionally to crusher power

Now that seems a lot more representative of the cutting power of crushers in real life, don't you think?

tl;dr = crushers need to do more damage in ARC, see my new stat block.

Edited my signup post - running HW only

I'm looking at 60hr work weeks for the foreseeable future and I haven't had time to design any new bots (and I'm tired of most of my old ones, anyway).

One of the guest House Robots for this, an angry cuttlefish called...

KILLAMARI

Speed: 6 / Traction: 4 / Torque: 3 / Weapon: 19 (+5 lifter) / Armour: 4+6

After losing an argument to a mechanical lobster, Killamari now has thirst for revenge on any and all robots. Armed with a pair of lifting and grabbing arms flanked by three pairs of hinged wedges to flip and control and ram competitors with and 36kg undercutting spinning disc to chomp on armour with.
