Backlash arena prototype

Ok, I'm only going to post one picture as of now and let everone look at it. I'll give you guys 3 days to let me know if you want any changes, after 3 days it gets finalized and I do the rest of the pictures.

Image
-With Middleweight AMP for scale

This arena is an unusual oval shape with moderately low walls for possible flip-outs. The only hazards are and arena drum and 2 sets of killsaws. NO NAIL!

Ok, let me know what you think.

I think it needs to be a bit bigger. The SHWs are going to have a tough time moving around in there...

Unless that was the point?

I think it seems pretty big. Remember, this is fantasy. The arena's as big as the writers decide that it is. And it could easily vary result by result.

Well, I suppose AMP may have been a poor bot to use for scale seeing as though his bar is so fucking big. I put a SHW in there and they should still have quite a bit of room.

I think it's (the most part) fine like it is. It's a little big, but it's not going to be a big deal. Besides, I prefer spacey arenas myself. My arenas were spacey as well, but since the nail was there, they never really felt "comfortable".

Yeah, one result could have the arena be roughly the scale of Paul's plywood bot box and the next result is in the Superdome.

The oval could make for some interesting results though.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

We just need it pointed out and visible just WHERE the killsaws will be. Other than that, I say we use that picture for the season.

EDIT: I think I can see where they'll be, but they need to be more visible.

Yeah, the killsaws are in that pictures, but they're hard to see. The 3 days are up, so I'll do some nicer/easier to see renderings tomorrow. Can we set our first card to be due September 8th then?
