The plan is to also have time to redo the CFL list in between Ruination and FRR as well, so at least a couple week break would be beneficial.[/quote]Out of curiosity since Hammerfall is using the CFL rules and we have had so many members come over here, will Hammerfall be counted for the records? I don't care either way, just curious.

Just a quick tip: 15-16 armor isn't really necessary unless someone enters something ridiculous like that 18 WEP walking overhead spinner that was in the Hammerfall bot showcase thread. Right now your MW and SHW entries are going to have serious trouble dealing with most of the non-spinners in the same weight class: people can drive rings around the MW and get under it, and the SHW will get pushed around. The middleweight is also at risk from horizontal spinners with 5+ speed and 14+ weapon, which should be able to get around the plow and take your tires off.

12-13 armor should be enough to absorb all the spinners in the competition without taking too much damage, and honestly 10-11 armor should still hold up.

Side note: event organizers, please put Executioner in my group, the single-stroke hammer vs. hammer samurai-style battle which ends the first time someone actually gets in a hit has the potential to be awesome.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

...How would that even work? The way I see it, as soon as it makes a step, the weapon will hit the ground and go unstable everywhere.

What's with this new trend of really high-up walking spinners anyway? Did we get warped to 2001 or something?
