I've beaten him before with the slower and weaker Psyclone in Ruination: The Beginning, so with a much faster and more powerful machine than last time with double his Traction and 15 external armour compared to his 7, I reckon I stand a good chance of doing it again.

Could go either way granted, but don't count me out just yet.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

Ugh, you know what I mean. And even then- I read up on what happened in that earlier, and ultimately I think the Traction was one of the big things that worked against Josh there, along with his much shorter attacking range and smaller teeth. I'm not exactly the sharpest one in the drawer, but I do think that my bigger teeth and better control/stability could well pull it back in my favour- particularly if I can wreck his bar early on and/or knock him around with the recoil.

It was basically their high-powered weapons coming into contact with each other so often that the weapons died out. There was no avoiding that, considering both robots had 360-degree attack range, and huge weapon power while neither had too much of a weapon advantage over the other. That left Frequency free to use its wedge.

I don't know how you interpreted it the way you did, but whatever you're smoking to have thought of that, I want some. :P

But all I'm saying is that due to being able to better stick in place and get to Frequency's exposed bits, and having big metal teeth as opposed to those little Spikes, it was that maybe I'd fare a bit better if I'm lucky- particularly considering that I've come up with a bit of a plan that takes my design into account, and should take out his bar faster if it works.

I'll give you "little spikes". :P I guess I deserve to be punished for not using huge chunks of scrap metal as weapons for a change. :v:

Small teeth work well for causing heavy shredding damage, but I guess they don't fare so well against other spinners due to their range and general lack of kinetic energy.

Also, "huge chunks of scrap metal"? I'll have you know those teeth are custom-tooled. :P

WEEK 9

LW:

Mobile Failure vs. Smoke and Mirrors - (Casino Night Zone)

This is a cool match-up. I think Smoke and Mirrors could actually take this one since MF has a static hammer.

Smoke and Mirrors-65%

Old Soul vs. Jupiter 2 F - (Lumina Cloth)

lolno. This is just comedy. The flipper takes the advantage.

Jupiter 2F-80%

Hit 'em Hardest vs. Mercenary - (Land of Confusion)

This would be a tough call, but instead it

3 Prospective Wins, and one potentially very close fight? That's good- you could certainly be doing worse. I think with Hephaestus however, I might be able to beat him if I bring Lethal Injection's new Armoured Scoop into play- it was designed for taking on powerful spinners like his. It's very thick and mounted just off the body for good protection against his weapon, and it should hopefully get under him well due to him not being an undercutter.

Yay, 2-2. And another match where the arena plays to my advantage!

It's like every time someone predicts against you, you have to explain to them that they're incorrect.

They're opinions dude, don't take them so personally.
