LoRE Season 1: Preseason Predictions

Here's my fresh batch of MW predictions!

MW's

Touro Division

#1 Luna. Simply cause Kody is a fucking bastard. Just kidding man! :P

#2 Give Way. It's.... Just freaking awesome man, should kick ass around here.

#3 Harbinger. ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL MOTHERFUCKER!!!!

#4 The Swarm. One annoying clusterbot to fight, should pick up some good wins here and there.

#5 Terminus. Next stop, PAIN! Surprisingly, he has the best wedge in the division, but I doubt that will save him.

#6 Goldon Destiny 2. Looks like a really good bot, but it's exposed weapon motor will really fuck him up.

#7 Decapitator. A really good bot, don't get me wrong. But with 1 wedge here and really shit body armour at best, he might be in trouble.

Doom On You Division

#1 Influenza. .....Shit, were fucked!

#2 Automaton. Should do very well in it's division, should deal with most and get to the play-offs.

#3 WhipCoil 4.5. He's missed out on the play-offs by a fraction every single time, but I feel this time it's his year!

#4 Good For it. Looks like a fearsome bot with good stats and a huge disc.

#5 Caliente. Good armour wedge, not much control though.

#6 Handle With Care. Your average run of the mill drum bot, shouldn't do too bad I think.

#7 Sword of Justice. Putting no wedge on that thing is just asking to die!

Oho, so a prediction for First Place for Conqueror? That's great to see! Along with Kody's prediction for Mamba earlier (Thanks for that, by that way), that's very encouraging to see, so hopefully I can pull that off.

And for a second, I read Turgor's name as Turbot. Now it's got me feeling like a nice piece of fish for my dinner. :P

In reality though its a design meant for a league without the wedge effectiveness rule but I guess I never changed it. I think my thinking at the time was that I could've given it wedge points, but it wouldn't have really been enough to make a difference so they were better invested in other places. I think I should've given it more speed and made it more compact.

I know that feel. I'm in quite a similar pickle with Decapitator's stats, but I do at least have some good speed and control on my side. I'll need to make very good use of it if it's going to stand a chance, though.
