am i too late to enter this? i saw a deadline of dec 21 somewhere but have the entry slots filled up already? are there a limited number of entries to begin with?

Not at all- any number of entries are welcome, since it's run in a Round Robin (Everyone fights each other once) format.

Just make sure you get them in fairly soon, and you'll be very welcome to enter :P
