Have a cool design you want to show off? Bored because coronavirus shut down your school/place of business? Downtrodden with existential dread about the fact that not even this pandemic has been able to motivate the American ruling class to take care of its population? Make an artbot!

3 rules:
-Maximum 2 entries per person (in a single post on this thread)
-Entry must have not competed before (and is preferably an entirely new design)
-No mocking people for not living up to your expectations of what an artbot should look like.

Why is this in the tournament polls subforum? Because we’re gonna vote on the ones we like best! Im thinkin like 3-4 rounds of culling out stuff till we get a top 5, give or take. That part’s gonna be pretty chill, this is mostly just to show off your design skills.

DEADLINE: march 22nd, midnight EST. Expect a poll a day from there, style tbd but probably done on discord.

Heavyweight hammersaw. Has two weapon options, a 10 kg blade with a LONG hook-shaped tooth, and a ~14 kg blade with a less lulzy tooth but actually equal potential bite and more MOI/KE.

The anti-vertical plow, including the forks, is actually made out of solid UHMW plates, with additional AR400 plates attached to the ends. The end plates have "bottoms" on them so they're not just being held in by screws into soft plastic; any normal direction of hit will let the entire plastic piece take the impact in compression. The forks are a little bit bendy and springy, which should help them not get torn apart if a vertical spinner catches the tip. The "horns" on the arms which keep it from wheelie-ing the disc into the floor are also UHMW and actually have reasonable durability. The little horns on top are decorative, but not flimsy; however, they don't get in the way of the blade doing its job since they're farther from the outer radius of the tooth than the max bite it can get.

The other plow options aren't rendered yet because I ran out of time :V

Not rendered in Sketchfab, ran out of time, but here's Hold The Line:

A robot themed around war from a British builder. If only there was a show where that would work...

I'm not sure about the color scheme on this one, but voilá:

As you've guessed from the name, it's a flamethrower bot. And each of those six nozzles is a flamethrower, yes, though they're all part of the same system and fire together. The wedge is hinged (as you can see if you look closely) and can be swapped out for a standard ABR plow when I render one of those :V

Busy rendering my ROBOT4 entries lol so here's a robot I submitted for an RA2 tournament years ago. Said tournament lasted a whole 2 rounds before promptly shitting the bed and dying. Doesn't count as "competing" if it's an entirely different game, right?

Image

It has flame-spewing jets on the back and lens flare laser eyes on the front. I was going through a bit of a synthwave 𝓪𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓽𝓲𝓬 phase at the time of building this, so I gave it some of those cool punk purples and cyber blues for a color scheme.

Drive: Custom Etek Drive Motors
Trivia: Built by Mr. AS (note: thas me mane!! my old GTM username, that is). Based off of Matilda and the booster from diep.io.

It even had a little "reveal trailer" courtesy of a Gametechmods forum member:
