Round 1: "Fridge" vs. Shadow Zone Forever
From Team Hunga (yet again, this guy seriously needs to go away =P) we have the famous ARC: Vengeance HW, Uh Oh! It's A Red Hot Fridge! Considered by some to be the coolest bot name ever (and also influencial in eventually bringing about the bot word limit), Fridge is a timeless icon. His run to the semis in Vengeance, along with his heated rivalry with Slasher made him a classic in his time. How does the "fridge" fair nowadays?
From Team Zlayerz, we have the current HW champ, Shadow Zone Forever! Considered to be the big "new HW to beat", SZF is a tough bot no matter who you put him up against. Only time will tell to see if he can keep up his successful run in ARC but so far, he is one tough mutherf*er.

Yeah, this one is really hard to call. I'm gonna come back later to think about it some more.

I like Fridge. Better speed/maneuverability to equal torque plus the 2WD makes him lower. Then again Gimp fights SZF this week so of fucking course I'd argue maneuverability wins right

I'd ask why anybody gives anything 6 wheels to begin with, all it ever seems to do is fuck up your maneuverability.

Basically it gives extra traction to win in a pushing match but now I see that's stupid because it never really comes down to a pushing match anymore does it...
I did think about manoeuvrability and believed the wide placings of the 6WD would help it with turning; alas...

yep
Just who gets under who more, because if you get undr something, you push it
not even the torque to traction buff changed this

This is such as shallow generalization.
More wheels, as Kody said, gives you better traction and control. It might make you turn a bit slower, but then again, you can aim much better as well. Plus, there are other factors as well, like how wide your base is and such. 2WD bots tend to turn too fast a lot and that could be a hinderance more than anything. There's a reason bots like Copperhead, Gila, Reflector Shield, Eurypterus and such have many wheels and it pays off for them, even against rammers.

It was a genuine question as to why anybody would give a robot 6 wheels over 4, not a generalization.
Although I'd like to point out that turning too fast was never a problem for Underall.
Not like the 6 wheels helps SZF more than it hurts, however, because with 7 speed/6 traction he's not really going to have a lot of control problems even with 4WD.
its funny. Last seasons SZF would have been better with 6 wheels and this season's SZF would be better with 4, but Kody did it the other way around.

I still don't understand everyone's hard-on for Underall... Looked like just another wedge to me. I think the only reason it ever did well is that Dylan and Andrew both claimed its wedge would be better than anyone elses, though I've never seen proof of that.

It wasn't just a low set of hinged wedges, he had 2WD to make them even lower when he was going forward. It's not a perfect wedge no and it's not right to assume it can get under EVERYTHING, but you certainly can't deny it's a pretty effective wedge.
