LW: Sovereign

Completely revised design. Fast overhead thwack with a wedge hinged on the drive axis. Integrated one piece frame includes drive gearboxes, weapon shaft, battery boxes, and mounting location for a new vibration damped and shock isolated electronics bulkhead. The front wedge ring bearings are now mounted on the frame and have slight clearance between the inner race and the drive axels, to eliminate stress on the drivetrain from impacts to the wedge. Uses the same drive wheels as Darkstar, but has an additional beadlock ring on the rim and thicker axels to prevent wheels getting torn off. The wedge can be locked in place with a pair of locking pins, turning the bot into a wedge/traditional thwack. Fully invertible.

Very low undercutter spinner. Shares about 85% common components with JAKT. Tube steel frame protects the large drive motors and encases the weapon motor, batteries, and other components. Like Sovereign, has a vibration damped and shock isolated electronics package, to include twin gyros to correct for yaw rates while the weapon is in operation. Weapon is an S7 tool steel bar with a negative bevel for tearing into tires and peeling away bottom armor. Invertible, but works as an angled horizontal spinner when flipped. New titanium wheel guards protect the formerly exposed wheels from damage, but have enough clearance to prevent stopping the wheels if minorly damaged. To save weight for the new wheel guards, the rear plow was trimmed down on the sides.

HW: Darkstar

Very large vertical spinner with an active suspension system. The weapon is a massive vertical titanium disc with 6 tool steel teeth, driven by two 8 horsepower motors, each with its own independent drive system. The design cut into the disc reduces weight and allows for maximum kinetic energy at the points of the teeth. A new roll cage prevents damage to the motors and increases structural rigidity. The active suspension system absorbs up to 20% of downward impact from the weapon, reducing stress related damage. At the rear of the chassis is an omni wheel driven by a small motor. The wheel is normally inactive, allowing the bot to "glide" without dragging the rear end. When both drive motors move in opposite directions at full power (turning in place) the rear motor activates to assist with a small ammount of torque to improve turning speed. The overall size of the frame and wheel base (Darkstar is nearly twice the size of Copperhead) help prevent being flipped, but has no SRiMech.

Returns mostly unchanged. Fast, heavily armored rammer with 8 "dualie" wheels. Still uses a fully integrated one piece frame and front "V" plow, all made of heavy chromolly steel. The sides have steel plates to prevent balancing and for additional armor. The rear retains the dual hinged spike assemblies, but adds a third. The spikes can be locked in place horizontally, allowed to hinge freely, or removed outright in any combination or arrangement. Front fangs can be replaced with flush mounted plates. The drivetrain gearing has been slightly reworked for more torque with a slightly reduced speed. The rear of the frame tapers so that if anything gets under the front, the rear wheels will still touch the ground. Fully invertible.
