I'm looking for a few writers if anyone's interested
Ritual
Hey would you mind laying down on that table for a few minutes? we need your heart for...reasons...
Ground Clearance:
Flat front wedge:
two wheel drive sawblade robot. wheels exposed at the rear for better wedge escaping (the fins sticking out at the rear will beach it at about a 35* angle, but it's fine until then. weight is well enough distributed so that it shouldn't be wheelie-ing, even with the arm all the way back. the side fin things are semi-sacrificial.
Speed: 7
Traction: 5
Torque: 1
Weapon: 11 (1 to arm)
Armor: 6
I created a lifter attachment! and only have a vague idea of how it should be statted, so I shall try my best to make it seem normal all points will be re-distributed between weapon and armor, and I'll keep the body armor at 6. additional pictures here because I dont want this post to get ludicrously long

Woo, really dumb ideas.
Turbocharge
Melty hovercraft. Make sense? Not really.
Middle thing is a air compressor that fires said air out the two side vent things to rotate. Once it is rotating at speed, the air output is reduced to just enough to overcome friction and increases to translate.
Speed: 14
Traction: 0 (+3 Spin up)
Torque: 1
Armour: 11
Weapon: 4

Thresher Shark
4WD shell spinner with a front wedge mounted on the weapon's dead axle. The wedge is super-wide and features a hinged front lip (the black bits). Can theoretically self-right using the large "fin" on top.
Speed: 4
Weapon: 14
Armor: 8 (+2 to the front of the wedge. this does not count the top or the two black sides) (The shell spinner should in theory count for the weapon armor bonus)

"catcher in the rye" ( splinter esc 4 wheeled drive invertible grabber that is also a full body lifter with 6 wheels the lfiter conrers have 2 small wheels to help power the robot when it is in its lift position)
http://scorpion1m.deviantart.com/art/ca ... -614496599
it using its lifter (its full invertible but the lifter can only lift the robot on its correct side when it is upside down it doesn't activate)
http://scorpion1m.deviantart.com/art/ca ... -614497237
the idea is it grabs robots then lifts it self and the robot it has grabbed and takes the robot any where it wants demonstration vid coming soon
5-Speed
3-Traction
3-Torque
10 (2 for front plate armour)-Armour
9 (6 for grabber and 3 for the lifter device (two opposed claws count as a single weapon )-Weapon Power (the grabbing claws don't cause damage they there to get a hold of robots and not let them escape and lettign me bully the opponent)
it doing a test

:$ Aww shucks. Here's hoping I don't disappoint...
First up, I'm entering this bugger since, well... how could I not? Second, I'm down to write. Finally, presenting my middleweight entry:
Middleweight: Brimstone
(Theme Music)
So, what, precisely, is this infernal contraption? It's my new middleweight: Brimstone. It's an industrial steampunk-themed melty-brain and single-toothed horizontal spinner combo ironically powered by a lightweight axial diesel engine and armed with an optional flamethrower mounted in the weapon head. The engine has an excellent power-to-weight ratio and can run on a variety of different fuels. Fittingly, Brimstone belches black smoke, is louder than a demonic army on the march, and surrounds itself with a whirling ring of fire. The combination of the smokestack, the high torque of the diesel engine, and the single-toothed design allow it to self-right with ease.
The copper-coloured pipes that adorn its sides are purely ornamental, extremely light, and can be removed for matches. The vents on the sides actually let out excess heat and tire smoke. When spinning up, Brimstone becomes a whirling dervish of white smoke and fire. However, the spectacle does not last long. Its melty-brain system is geared primarily for translational movement, and so only reaches a factor of five rotational speed. Combined with the three point melty-brain spin-up bonus, it enjoys a traction ratio of 5:4. This means that it reaches its peak rotational velocity almost instantaneously, and once spun up, moves with incredible speed. Once this optimal state has been achieved, viewers and opponents alike will wonder and cower as the axial diesel engine rumbles to life and gouts of thick black smoke pour from the smokestack, signalling the activation of Brimstone's primary weapon: the single-toothed cogwheel blade. There are two versions of this weapon: the ornamental one pictured above, and a simplified version that includes none of the extra gears and cogs. With eleven weapon armour, both blades are incredibly tough, making their destruction at the hands of other spinners highly unlikely. So, with all of the description out of the way, let's get down to the nitty-gritty: what, exactly, are Brimstone's stats?
Stats
Configuration One: 5 speed | 16 weapon (11/11) | 7 armour (11 weapon armour)| 1 traction (+3 spin-up bonus) | 1 torque
Configuration Two: 5 speed | 15 weapon (10/10) + 1 flamethrower | 7 armour (11 weapon armour) | 1 traction (+3 spin-up bonus) | 1 torque

My entry for Showbots, a horizontal spinner named Atom. All electronics are inside the wheels and the weapon's electronics are attached to the axle, meaning they are protected when the blade is spinning. The C-shaped blade is balanced and has 2 teeth on one end and 1 on the other, all at different heights for maximum coverage.

Well, might as well enter something into an ARC tournament...
(Goes away for a bit)
So. RA2 bots have been done before. What about RA3?
I present to you: Galileo's Voyager
So, I know it's a bit weird, but designing bots like this in RA3 is a pain in the ass.
So the robot is a drum spinner with a twist. On the back it has a kinetic-powered flipper.
The robot is 70 cm long, with the flipper having a stroke of 30 cm.
Here are the stats.
Speed:4
Traction:2
Torque:1
Armour:7
Weapon:15 and 1 to the clutch

Middleweight, you say? =D
Taur
2WD near the back, nice big flipper at the front. Two horns on the top prevent being high-sided, and help put the robot onto its front when overturned - balanced on both horns and the wedge of the flipper - to assist with self-righting. Tail on the back prevents the bot kicking itself over when it's right-side up, and the exhaust from the pneumatic system is vented through the nose at the front, just for fun. =D

The wait is over. A rarely used design, reimagined. No robot left unscathed.
Armed with a capturing dome and flamethrower (That's right I made a smotherer. How fun is that?), this bot's goal is simple: capture and destroy. And no, this dome is no sandbox. This one is made with strong yet lightweight titanium. It's arms can help it self right and it will always face the opponent with four omnidirectional wheels. Also, the eyes light up to a bright red when firing the flamethrower.
I give you, The Dome of Dismay
Speed: 6 Weapon: 8 ( 3 dome, 5 flamethrower) Armor: 9 (+2 to the dome) Traction: 4 Torque: 3

Glunk
4WD. It hunkers down using a mechanism that pulls the body down to the ground and makes it impossible for any robot to get underneath. When they go over top of it, the mechanism is released and another separate mechanism fires the entire shell upwards. Yes, this means it's vulnerable while moving, but I dare you to try and charge it.
A third mechanism uses the orange appendages up top to move and self-right the machine if needed. They can also lift up more if I need more leverage to self-right.
Oh, and good luck damaging it much, spinners... all those curved surfaces... :D
