UPLIFTING EXPERIENCE 3 (UE3 fo' short).
The flipping machine returns barely unchanged from last time: a little bit wider, a little bit shorter and a new paint job. 2 wheel drive, cambered wheels. Sprung front wedge to get under all opponents and a powerful flipper to toss them off. Spikes (badly drawn) at the top designed to stop opponents driving off so I can send them to the hazards. Main tactic: ram and flip and drive them around the arena. Last time, UE came 2nd, and this time I am hoping to go one better.

Middleweight
LowDown
Updated version of a previous middleeweight finalist. Same principle as before - an unstoppable ramming brick that stays attached to your ass longer than a bad case of haemorrhoids. The machine has changed a little bit: everything is much smaller in order to not only reduce the area opponents can attack, but also to help turning. The front wedge (dark grey) is sprung and has 2 long spikes at the base to help get underneath opponents and 2 smaller broader spikes at thee top to hold opponents in place as it rams them into arena obstacles. The sides and rear skirts (light grey) are hinged. Last time LowDown competed it came 2nd, this time - like a man who has't had sex in a very long time- it's gonna come first.

Vice
Adding a bit of showmanshp to the proceedings, meet Vice. Thee main weapon is a set of hydraulically powered jaws which can lift and crush.Main aim is to use the hinged bevelled wedge to get underneath opponents, lift and crush using the jaws and cause damage, either in thee jaws or using the hazards. Vice runs on a set of shuffling pads to provide extra torque, as well as spreading the weight of the robot over a larger surface area, ideal when there is a fat robot in the jaws. The rear spike acts as a counterweight, and the whole machine is invertible.

Panda-Mick 2
He's back with a completely new design! Main weapon is the spinning eggbeater which can not only cause horrific damage, but also flip opponents into the air via a gymnastic display worthy of the Chinese Olympic team. The front scoop is actually made of two seperate half-scoops; each one sprung so it can get under opponents effectively. 2WD gives it a fantastic turning circle and ability to keep the weapon facing opponents at all times. Invertible and angled sides means this machine can keep on going.

Basically "Goodbye" as a LW. 2-wheeled fully invertible bot with a lifting arm capable of 360 degree rotation. Can self right, but is exactly the same upside down. 4 large thwacking blades and 4 sets of hinged toothed wedges round it out.

It may look another bog-standard invertible ring-spinner at first glance, but you'd be wrong. Mornington Crescent is in fact armed with TWO spinning rings; one spinning clockwise, the other anticlockwise. This not only means double the damage, but theoretically greater balance and recovery time upon collision. Next stop: Pwnage Junction. With any luck.

These flipper-ish thingies are joined together and have two large spatulas covered in barbs, designed to snag wheel houses and puncture tyres, The idea is that an enemy drives up the wedges or gets caught on the barbs, the 'flippers' fire simultanously and the enemy gets clamped in place, just like a real venus fly trap. Also fitted with a separate self-righting arm on top and a personalised licence plate at the rear, just like a real venus fly trap.

The big difference this time around is the addition of 'barbs' on the wedge, designed to puncture tyres and snag wheel-houses. Throw in some swift self-righting arms and the most fashionable skirts in all of Rome, and you're in for a right royal rumble. Release the tiger!
