I said this on Facebook, but I'll repost here:
In my humble opinion, the new "Robot Wars" commentary style is akin to that of a bad 1950's nature documentary that you'd watch in science class.
"And here we see the dreaded Matilda looming large over its natural habitat, known as the PPZ. It has tusks to elevate any encroachments and push them away from its home. Uh oh! Here comes the flighty Apollo!"

Guessing you’re watching the American dub? It’s far better with JP the overstimulated puppy.

Dunno. I'm watching it on the Science channel. Never pay attention to the credits.

If you're not watching it on the BBC,you're watching the dub. It's basically edited down to fit more ads in, by cutting out all pit scenes, and replacing the commentator for some reason.

Dubbing a show that's in English is baffling to me.

Re: Robot Wars (new season)
if they deadass just hired chills from top15's to dub the show, chills would just deadass have the same energy as the american announcer and somehow manage to sound more enthused than the american announcer
