I actually though Chomp deserved to win. DI took all the damage.

She did get lucky though, if Jason's bot hadn't gotten stuck in a crease on the floor, it would've been a different outcome.

In other sports, wildcard spots are given to the best performing teams that didn't initially make the grade. In Battlebots, a bot that split the judges' decision is passed over for a wildcard in favor of bots that lost by unanimous JD or got knocked out....

I would have preferred Disco over Ghost Raptor, and maybe sawblaze in there somehow, but as it is, I'm pretty happy with the wildcards this year. definitely better than the Chomp fiasco last year :P

They judges are weighing damage way too heavily. I don't think Lockjaw should've probably won, but a unanimous decision si ridiculous given how much time he spent controlling the fight and using the hazards.

They put a bracket on their site, so I filled out the whole thing in terms of who I think will win. We'll see how right or wrong I am at the end.

I'm like 90% sure Stinger is winning his quadrant. I can't see any of those bots stopping him.
If Tombstone doesn't self destruct, he will win his. We didn't really get to see how good or bad Brutus actually is.
If any bot can beat Minotaur, it's complete control, otherwise it's going to blast through to the finals. Bronco could maybe win, but having exposed wheels now is not great.
I think Witch Doctor is tough enough to beat Whyachi, but no one else in that quadrant is.
