I watched a republican debate recently between cruz and trump. Trump is literally more terrifying than I thought and I will happily cast my pointless vote for probably-clinton in november to stop him.

I can see what's happening... people voting for Trump have figured out they can do something very powerful with their vote that they've never done before. This new power is exciting and blinding their judgment. They are frustrated that the economic recovery has left them behind and they are voting for whomever pisses the big wigs in charge off the most and does the most damage, to vent their frustration, no matter how hilariously unqualified that man is for being president. And the more they do it the better it feels. The angrier the party leaders and the media get the more it just emboldens them. This will be the first election year where the troll vote becomes a factor.

I think democrats have reacted with fear and gone with the safe candidate in Hillary.... but this was potentially a huge miscalculation. Sanders could've fed off of that anger towards the establishment and blunted Trump's shock appeal with his own. Hillary is about as establishment as it gets.

Any progressive that allows republicans to win the presidency, when they have a permanent majority in most state legislatures, on the house of representatives, and will likely keep a majority in the senate... and will get to nominate probably 3 new justices in their first term, is even more gullible than the minorities hillary tricked into voting for her over a literal civil rights activist.

We've done this shit before and sat out an election because the progressive lost the primary... it didn't go well any of those times.

You think hillary's bad... Trump with the supreme court and congress is infinitely worse. That shit will poison this country for the rest of your life.
