Vortex looks badass, dude. I am NOT looking forward to having to fight it.

Vertigo is back in its' 3rd iteration. Made smaller and more compact with 4WD, this new version uses four brushless motors to deliver a more powerful drive for less weight. The vertical spinner is still powered by an Etek but is now on a powered arm allowing to push its front spikes onto the ground and to double as a srimech. It can also be used as a pair of lifting spikes should the weapon fail. The armour is 5mm Hardox surrounding a titanium chassis.
And I will be editing my posts in this gallery to bring back all the old renderings because deleting them was a dumbass move wasn't it.
Speed: 5 | Weapon: 14(1 for arm) | Armour: 8 | Traction: 2 | Torque: 1

My Heavyweight entry for RoBattle. LowRider is a 4WD rammer with an axle running through the entire robot allowing it to lower its wedges onto the ground and to raise them if it needs to get over objects. It's built to be heavily armoured against spinner and deals damage by just pushing opponents into the wall at high speed. Made out of Hardox and titanium.
Speed: 7 | Weapon: 1 | Armour: 13 | Traction: 5 | Torque: 4

I am quite liking that design there, it should perform well given the tournament. Looking forward to seeing it in action.

Hellfire returns with a complete redesign. This new version is more compact and lower for better protection against spinner with two ampflow motors powering the drive. The whole front is made of 10mm hardox with a titanium chassis underneath. The flipper is 1m long and is pneumatically powered and fires using a piston to push the flipper up and is retracted by bungee cords as is now common on British flippers. It also features an optional tongue to allow it extra reach when fighting spinners. There are also a pair of small wheels at the rear that push the front into the ground for zero ground clearance.
Speed: 7 | Weapon: 8 (7/1 for back wheels) | Armour: 10 | Traction: 3 | Torque: 2

As gorgeous, deadly, and seizure-inducing as ever! Might also wanna state that there's a bungee cord or other method of retraction for the flipper when you enter it in something.

Effective design, crazy paint scheme, I'm liking this! Bonus wheels at the back are a neat idea, but I'm reminded of Gemini's anti-wheelie bars in Extreme/S5, would they allow the robot to become stranded on the back panel?

@Monsterworks Forgot about those. Updated the CAD and post.
@NFX Don't think it can get stranded on the back. The wheels can pivot further against the panel and the weight distribution would probably make it fall onto it's wheels. And if it does get stuck, the flipper is powerful enough to move it.
@Trihunter I now own it :P

The spiritual successor to Atom, Death Or Glory is a robot with a 1.4m overhead bar spinner. It weighs roughly 38kg and is made of steel to deliver some of the biggest hits possible. A compact chassis made of welded steel tube with titanium panels houses all the motors and batteries. It also has a hinged steel wedge at the front to stop flippers getting underneath and to help smaller robots go into the the bar.

I have a deep seated love for overheads with giant fuckoff blades. probably because I love hazard and brutality lol.
unfortunately this sort of design tends to be pretty weak on ARC even beyond the usual loses when flipped issue, but that's only an issue if you were trying to win with it lol

2 things. 1: if you give the bot 7 weapon, you can use the 2/3 weapon split to get 5 weapon on the drum and on the lifter - which will give you an extra point you can put into traction so you aren't constantly having control struggles.
2: you took this in an interesting direction, that's actually pretty similar to where I was gonna go with a 4-bar when I next get around to drawing something. looks cool as hell.

Liking the looks of Vortex 2, really reminds me of Magnetar :P
