Look at, say, The Servant's Assistant and see how it has it set up for the flipper and axe.

I want to see a colored square rendered under this thing not a reflective surface!

Who was it who thought the red square was actually part of the robot, and got dragged around with it? :D

So, I've been working on Stingray, which I plan to enter again. I had some thoughts about this robot,
and I came to the conclusion that it wasn't fully sound, although it did well in the past.
Several niggling problems kept showing up:
-It cannot press its forks.
-Attempts to make it lower cause it to be weakly invertible, and it cannot self-right.
-Its wheels don't touch the floor if it's lifted by the front.
-The weapon doesn't work with the damage scale because it gets corner damage everywhere. And frankly, the idea of jamming a
spinner's bar with chromolly might've made a lot of sense in 2002, but I suspect Overkill's blade wouldn't have made Last Rites
or Brutality even flinch.
-The weapon really does nothing of value other than that. A simple lifter would be better all around at using the points. I couldn't
think of any situation where the bar was preferable to a lifter, except one where the bar does actual damage and carries a lot
more power.
I thought of all of this months ago and thought of a way to address all these issues. I sat confidently on this information for a
long time, thinking "ha I've got the killer fix to this" but now that I'm rendering it, I'm having trouble making it still look... well...
like a stingray.
This is a rough render of the changes.
-The bar will have a much higher point allocation and will count on causing actual KO-level damage.
-The wedge up front will press, but also lift and it will be attached to the bar allowing it to flip. By being attached to the bar, it
will also get the weapon-armor-bonus, and will have great spinner protection since it'll be a solid surface on the front.
-It's a 4-wheeled bot now and the rear wheels WILL touch the floor if the bot gets lifted now.
-The robot can use its weapon to self-right now, so I can optimize the wedge to be low when it's right-side up.

Nick you are the king of making awesome dual-weapon systems that don't subtract from each other. That is all.

I'm taking a break from tournies on ARC, but I will still try to represent for ARC in Hammerfall. Parasite's had an interesting evolution over the 1.5 decades it's been around. The last version had dodgy spinner-spinner matchups. Tried to improve that a bit.
