SPARKEYS NEW 2D BOT SHOWCASE
I would name that bot "Eraser" or something like that. That looks like those old removable erasers we used to put on our pencils if it broke, or the old eraser was too far worn down.

I just read through this whole thread, holy hell my brain hurts.
Sparkey, I know this has been said to you many times before, but you still need to take your time when doing 'bot designs.
"Yes, but think about it. In real life
frenzy: OMG that hammer is huge he goes insane fail:win
the master: craziest design at robot wars when he first competed: win
mualer: the entire robot protected by a blade!!!!!!: win
all designs were crazy thoughts at one point. They need to be created. If we keep going with the same designs, robot combat will die out and so will ARC."
Yes, that was true back in the 90s, when the other bots were no where near as effective as they are now.
Compare a 120lb robot from 2000:
To 120lb robots in 2009:
Of course the designs change, and a robot like "Spaz" wouldn't last more than 45 seconds with a modern middleweight robot.
One thing I am noticing in your 'bots is that you seem to think RA2 parts are the only ones that seem to exist (ie your lifters, you want to use skinny arms with the RA2 wedge-pieces at the end), try to design your bots with a more open mind-set.

it's a mix of brushdog and creativity
1. What is the STEVEout design?
2. Can you help me draw the side better?
3. Do you think it's "good"?

Steve aka Diacronic aka Systemat1c entered the exact same design in all four weight classes of the first CFRC. It was a simple box with an absurdly powerful spinning disc that protruded from both ends. One of them won a title and they all had names that were all caps but ended in out, hence the "STEVEout" nickname.

okay. Lol It was more, or less a mix of brushdog, creativity, a bot from the RFS DSL RA2 pack, and the real life Hworf.

I'm not exactly following the last design....does the gray circle spin, or does the green thing spin? And what exactly is the grey L shaped things on the side?

Don't draw the internals if you have no clue what they should look like.
