Sorry. I can't even bother to call that a "song". It was just noodling to show what a show-off can do with two strings. If I want that, I'll watch "Kubo And The Two Strings." 2/10

When I found my last Neville Brothers' submission, I stumbled across this one. Based on an old hymn, the spiritualism and harmonies on this make it so beautiful.

It's like I'm playing Megaman 4 all over again. 6/10

So you've seen the yodeling chicken meme on Facebook right? Turns out it's a full song by a guy of Japanese descent, who's been yodeling professionally since the early '80s! This is a remix of a song he originally cut in 1993. Mad respect.

In the movie 20th Century Women, punk music was described as the music of those whose passion exceeded their talent. Such was definitely the case here. 4/10

Anyway, I gave you that previous one because the real coup d'grace is the mash-up that was made of that song with.... Gangnam Style. Watch the video. This is just one of the happiest things I've ever seen on the Internet.

....

I have questions :V

I also have a 9/10 :V

Ghost may or may not have mostly broken up recently, and there's a bunch of bands that are apparently related to former members. this one has the old drummer, IIRC.

Alright, I gave everyone about a month to jump in, but no one did, so...

Interesting voice, frightening stage presence, okay otherwise.

4/10

Hopefully haven't shared this one before, but it's a song that I've been in the mood for lately.

Practically the textbook definition of "novelty act." Probably doesn't help matters that I'm not really into Led Zeppelin that much either. Still, kudos for the imagination. 5/10

This next song I like, could have used some high harmony in a couple places, but I hope you like it too.

D'oh! No song showing up in Philips post so I'll just piggyback on the previous one. I don't agree with Philip dismissing them as a "novelty act" since he seems to only think of the term in a negative context. They seem to be quite good at what they do and reasonably successful at it. I'd say a solid 7/10 at least and only then because I'm not familiar with the Led Zepplin original track so I have no context for that part of the track.

That wasn't meant as a diss, necessarily. I simply mean it's a gimmicky kind of act that really can't evolve too much, and thus will grow stale. It's still amusing, but it isn't something that can sustain itself too long.

As for Josh's submission... I don't say this too often, but that's a song that could only be better if it was a little longer, let us get into the groove a bit more and enjoy it a bit more. 9/10

Trying this song again.

my only real complaint on this song is that it seems to be trying to touch as many genres as possible without embracing any single style. that and the depressingly little amount of saxophone :P . but they layer sound well, singer's got a good voice, good chord progression. gonna listen to more of them. 8/10

as for me, I've a Dave Matthews song I've been listening the hell out of for a while. there are many versions of it, but the one live at radio city is definitely my favorite. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhhTCeDKUQw
