I would like to suggest a column showing cumulative laps led, if we've got a top 5/top 10 column (I assume that's what they are)

I also found it funny that the default setting at the very bottom of the sheet is to add ONE THOUSAND ROWS. =D

NASCAR ARC Series

The race at Atlanta has finished! Here's how it went down:

Mike Hunt and Pinky Machibuse started on the front row for this race, but they didn't hold it for long as Akira Queen took it from Hunt on lap 2. Ron Waffle moves into the lead on Lap 4, and holds it for a while. However, Aiko Asakura has a solid early run, and moves from 3rd to second to the lead by lap 10. The front row did not have early success however, with Machibuse falling to 24th and Hunt sitting around somewhere in the top 15. Two of Giraffe Racing's cars have solid runs early, with Ruri Thomson and Ji-Sung Ki racing within the top 7. Also making moves is the 0 car of Johnny Rosales, who made his way from his 33rd-place starting position up to 2nd place in about 25 laps. Also moving into the top 5 is Magga McDonald, ousting the final Giraffe car from the top 5. Also running solidly early is George Plinkleton, who stays in the top 5 for most of the early going. On lap 32, McDonald pushes Rosales into the lead, and two laps later he steals the lead for himself. Rosales, McDonald and Waffle battle for the top 3 for several laps, with Antonio Alberts moving into the top 5 as well by lap 50. Soon after, green-flag pit stops begin, and the two Way Too Fucking Moto cars as well as Aislin Sheehan pit one lap before everyone else. This ends up backfiring, as they are caught on the tail end of the lead lap after a caution comes out: Ruri Thomson slows his car to pit, and Scott Jackson, who was not planning to pit that lap, slams into the side of him, causing both cars to spin. This crash also collects Adam Lawson, Harold Cunningham, Hoyte Burnett and Inky Aosuke. Karl Smith barely avoids the wreck, but manages to turn Timothy Victor into Scott McHale, taking out Chase Spader, John Hayward, Seth Martin, Robin Best and Sean Bennett. The cars reset with Rosales in the lead, but Queen passes him soon after and leads for several laps. Karl Smith, heavily damaged but not taken out, tries his best to stay in the race, but basically spends the rest of the race driving in and out of pit road and finishes the race 50 laps down. Queen is eventually held up by lap traffic and Asakura takes the lead on lap 72. One lap later, mid-race surprise Kirk Kidd takes the lead and Rosales slides back into 2nd. These two stay as staples of the main pack for the remainder of the race. However, Ron Waffle had issues on pit road and loses the pace, falling back into mid-pack for the rest of the race. Will Harvey Jr. makes his way up into 2nd and passes for the lead on lap 85, while Kidd slides down to 13th for a short while as he's stuck in traffic. Rosales and Harvey battle for the lead for a while before Queen and McDonald take advantage of the slow car of Robin Best and move into 2nd and 3rd. Queen passes Rosales for the lead on lap 107 and holds onto it until the second round of green-flag pit stops on lap 120. Once again, Sheehan pits a lap early, but once again it does not work out and she goes a lap down. McDonald gets the lead after pit stops cycle through, and he holds a one second lead for a while until Rosales catches him. On lap 126, the caution comes out for the second time when Robin Best's slow, damaged car is turned around by Scott McHale, and the 22 car collides with Travis Scalabrine. Sheehan luckily managed to get her lap back at this point, but is brake-checked by the slow car of Timothy Victor and takes some serious frontal damage that keeps her from contending. Rosales keeps the lead after the caution, but his teammate Kirk Kidd is coming up fast and the two battle for the lead with about 20 laps left. Kidd gets the lead and extends it as Rosales tries to fend off Harvey and Alberts for second. He mounts a late-race charge to try and pass his teammate for the win, but no one can catch the 1 car of Kirk Kidd as he wins his first race of the season! Congrats to Alex!

Remaining in the top ten both times, that's rather good!

Woo, second place, and somehow leading the championship despite not having won anything yet =D Other two seem attracted to other cars, but at least it's fun so far.

Not a good start for Lawson Racing. Lots of mechanical issues along with being caught up in other people's messes.

It's been two months since I did anything with this (and no i'm not updating it now) but just to say that this is on hiatus for now. Things have gotten busier for me and I don't currently have time to run this. Expect it to come back in a couple more months.

Mid-week revival race! because why not!

This week's race was at Las Vegas.

Johnny Rosales scored the pole for this one, and alongside him on the starting grid was Travis Scalabrine. Travis didn't stay there long, however, as George Plinkleton passed him almost immediately, followed by Rosales for the lead within the first 5 laps. However, Scalabrine comes back and passes Plinkleton with help from teammate Michael Vincent. The 84 however is able to pass them back and rocket into first, while the 44 has no room to recover and drops several spots. Also running well in the beginning is Hoyte Burnett, who is able to pick up 3rd as everything settles down. On the Mean Green Motorsports side of things, polesitter Rosales drops off quickly and falls deep into the field, but his teammate and previous race winner Kirk Kidd is able to do the opposite, working his way into the top 5 by lap 15. An early caution on lap 21 involving Pinky Machibuse and Scott McHale takes out both drivers and gives the field an early opportunity to refuel and take tires. A lightning-fast pit stop is able to propel Adam Lawson into the top 10 on the restart, but unfortunately his car is not as good as his pit crew and he can't stay there for very long.

Back at the front, Plinkleton loses the lead quickly to Burnett, but Karl Smith in the 91 is able to get past both and leads most of the middle of the race. Snuffy McAirborne is also running in second following the restart, but he can't get past Smith. However, Akira Queen is able to get past Smith and does so on Lap 40 after working his way up from 5th. However, he is passed again by Smith and drops back to 5th. Daytona winner Takumi Fujiwara is also quietly moving up through the field and works his way into 5th around lap 50. On lap 54, Queen returns to second and is able to get past Smith for the lead, and McAirborne follows him, putting Smith in 3rd. Queen, Smith and McAirborne then manage to open up a 4.25 second lead on the competition up until the green flag pit stop cycle around lap 80. Smith retakes the lead from Queen following the pit cycle, and the two continue their back-and-forth for the lead for most of the rest of the race. Fujiwara is able to catch the leaders and passes McAirborne for 3rd on lap 100, with the rest of the top 10 in hot pursuit. With 30 laps to go, it was anyone's game.

Smith loses the lead and then a top-5 spot courtesy of Fujiwara's late race charge, with Burnett, McAirborne and surprise Jaelon Sapp all passing him for position. With only 8 laps left, Fujiwara reaches Queen and then passes him, sending Queen back to 4th. While Burnett tries his best to get past Fujiwara, the 4 car was unstoppable. Takumi Fujiwara wins his second race of the season!!

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.
