Talk about the lastest in Nintendo, X-box and, if you can afford it, Playstation. Don't forget about PCs and handhelds, but if you go old-ass Atari on us, we'll cut you off at the knees.

It's got a nice Barrier feel going on... Can't go wrong with that.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

Reminds me of Bigger Brother with those spikes on the front. Pretty cool design, I reckon, the gap between the flipper and chassis's a bit big for my liking, though. Unless it's just a slow lifter like Barrier was.

Here's my entry for RW 2005 on GTM-

Tempest. Named after the Hawker Tempest, one of the most powerful Allied fighter planes of World War 2, it's a quick machine with 5mm Aluminium Armour, and a powerful Flipper. Basically an improved remake of Bloody Tosser, if you will.

I've been entertaining the idea of converting this one for use on ARC, but I'd have the flipper more set into the body and the same green colour as the rest of the robot.

Excellent chassis to flipper shape. What's it a rebuild of?

Not a rebuild of anything particularly, but Spitfire (AKA Dantomkia mk2) and M2 were pretty big influences, so we'll go with that. Glad you like how it looks, though- I'm quite proud of how it's come out.

Potentially. Last time I entered a Flipper though it did disastrously (Though Marauder getting revenge on the Enraged Enigma later made up for it. :P), but I'll definitely consider it. After all, it's quite an improvement over Bloody Tosser.

Well that was due to a bad draw really. Flippermakers came off too easily. The sheets are better.

Aye, they're doing a much better job of staying on when it fights spinners. The problem with BT was that its flipper fell to pieces to easily against more destructive opponents, whilst with Tempest, it's much tougher.

I have a view of the back for it as well, to give a good view of the shape. Pretty low and sleek, with some nice weathering for the WW2-era effect.

I definitely think this one could work on ARC as well, you know. Perhaps when Nick has some time free, I'll ask him if he can CAD it.
