Oop
Oop is dead. Very dead. Oop suppose had decent life. End strange way, though. Really, Oop have no last thought. Oop's brain go splat too fast. Goodbye, Oop. Was nice know you.
Oop's current arsenal: none. He's dead.
Nope and Ren
There are lots of Stockies here, light and dark ones, big hairy people too, and little ape-men. Well, one less little ape-man now. This is why Nope lets other people take the risks for her. She's in the process of looking at the... she decides to call it a bang-club when more people start to arrive. First are two big men - One's a Stocky, the dark kind. The other is one of those strange hairy ones. They both pick up the biggest, baddest bang-clubs they can find and, after a bit of what she supposes passes for communication in their two species, grin at each other. "Boom!" shouts the hairy one. "Haha!" He points the hollow end at some of the tiny ape-men, who scurry into the bushes, instinctively grouping up.
Next is a Light Stocky. He picks up a bang-club, examining it closely, before walking back towards the beach with it. The eyes of at least one of the other two men follow him for a moment. Of more interest to Nope, however, is a woman of her own species who, after carefully inspecting a number of Bam-clubs thoughtfully, selects one and picks it up. Judging by her clothes, she might be from an area pretty close to Nope's, and Nope knows a few words from other places anyway. She takes a deep breath, and in the simplest way that she can, tries to introduce herself. "Hi," she says. "I'm Nope." She points to herself. "Can you understand me?"
Nope's current arsenal: Glock 29 pistol
Ren's current arsenal: Kel-Tec PMR 30 pistol
Puck and Brick
Puck must get a boomstick. He needs it. He thinks of all he can kill with it. This is a strange place. He cannot think how he got here. He does not even try. He sees a very big, scary flying thing, though. If he has a boomstick, he can hit it. Boomsticks seem... stronger than spears. Puck is not dumb, though. He looks for the longest boomstick he can find. He sees other people take short boomsticks. Dumb. Very dumb. You want more space between you and the thing you kill, obviously. There is another man there. He's short but big. Dark skin. Muscles. A hunter like Puck. He talks and gestures. Puck doesn't understand. His words are long and fast and strange.
He understands soon, though. He points to a boomstick. He shouts "boom!" He mimics a head going boom and laughs. The short man understands. Puck thinks he thanks him. He takes a boomstick. Puck takes a boomstick. The tiny ape-men look out from bushes nearby. Puck raises his boomstick, careful to point the hole end at them and they run away. Puck holds his boomstick tightly. He grins at the short man. The boomstick makes him feel powerful.
Puck's current arsenal: Mauser M98 Magnum rifle
Brick's current arsenal: CZ 550 Safari Magnum rifle
Grug and First
People are picking up the strange clubs everywhere Grug looks. He is more concerned with his own. There are little shiny things that remind him a little bit of loose animal teeth on the ground, but they are also heavy stone. The red-haired girl and her strange, dark friend glance at him as they head for the trees. A skinny man sits on the beach, surprisingly relaxed despite all the chaos around him, and watches as Grug shakes the strange club. He does not hear much. There is a faint rattle, like there are little pieces inside, but they are not loose, like stones in a bag or basket. The slight rattle comes from a big lump on the club. It curves from one side like a blunt horn, though the end is square. Grug looks up, pondering. The waves roll in and out. There are shells like he has never seen, washed up on the sand. He looks along the beach's length and notices something else in the distance, close to the skinny quiet man. It looks like wood, but is shaped like an upside-down turtle shell or half of a clam. It is quite large - enough to carry a few people. Two long sticks rest against its sides. They widen at the ends, and are flat.
Grug's current arsenal: AK-47 semiautomatic rifle
First's current arsenal: none
Ee'rah, Lurk, and O'ko
Ee'rah sees the tiny man turn his head into little pieces with that... boom-stick, she decides to call it for now. The loud noise scares the big bug away, only for things to get much worse. The dark-skin girl beside her, roughly the same age as her, points up and begins shouting. Ee'rah doesn't understand a word that's coming out of her mouth, but she understands pointing and panicking. There is something in the sky. It flies like a bird but is not a bird. After a moment of trying to make sense of it, it dawns upon Ee'rah that this thing is enormous. Her heart starts beating faster. "Come!" she urges, gesturing at the strange girl. "Come on. Follow me!" If a boom-stick can turn someone's head into pieces, Ee'rah is pretty sure it can do something to a mammoth-sized animal too. Maybe less, she concedes, but still hurt it. Ee'rah passes the man like her. He's standing on the beach, shaking a boom-stick. She glances at him, but doesn't bother with more. She needs to get to cover, but she also needs a boom-stick of her own.
Lurk sees the red-hair girl motioning her forward, but her words make no sense. Tree cover would probably be smart, though. That... bird thing is HUGE. The trees will block its view of them. "Hey," she says, "We need to get a bang-club." She tries to gesture it. She thinks the other girl understands, but it's hard to tell. She's clearly a foreigner. Lurk quickly outruns her, darting and dodging through thick jungle brush. Something about the air here doesn't feel right. She feels a bit dizzy. Lurk never feels dizzy. Then, she comes upon it, in a small clearing away from most of the others: A big... square thing. She creeps up to its edge, cautious every step, and peers over. Inside is...
A fierce rustle in the bushes causes her to drop into a shoulder roll. She comes up, alert, but it's wasted energy. One of those great big ape-men comes running out of the brush, in a complete panic. "Quiet!" Lurk hisses, glancing, paranoid at the sky. She places her finger to her lips, hoping he'll understand. The red-hair girl is a little bit behind him. She glances his way, looks at Lurk, and rolls her eyes. She mutters something in a language that Lurk does not understand, but she can guess at the meaning. She smirks knowingly as her new friend tiptoes up. She points to the big square and makes a questioning face. The two women both look inside and gasp. This is clearly the motherlode. They find:
1) Roughly twenty swords of various types: flamberts, cutlasses, katanas, rapiers, a kilij, a claymore, and a zweihander
2) About a dozen pistols, mainly Glocks and S&W, but one Desert Eagle
3) A half-dozen or so hunting rifles of varying, but generally large calibre
4) Four submachine guns: three AK-47s and an M16
