Fight Music!:

Powerdrive 2020: Speed: 6 Traction: 4 Torque: 2 Weapon: 11 (1 schrimech, 10 discs) Armour: 7
Speed Bison: Speed: 7 / Traction: 6 / Torque: 3 / Weapon: 2 / Armor: 12 (+1 plow/fork)

Alright, so my opponent is going to go for a fork setup for this match, this will make things interesting for this match.

I don’t want to start off in a desperate attack, so I need to patiently move around outside the pit just to avoid getting caught.

Speed Bison is nippy and he’s going to be tough to outflank, so I’ll need to utilize the arena to my advantage in order to hopefully deal with him in this match.

I have the hinged wedgelets in front to actually help me get underneath SB and possibly chain some shots right to his exposed sides including one of the lifting arms, and prevent him from recovering & keep him on the back foot.

If I do collectively chain some hits then I’ll need to quickly send him to the Drum-boxes or possibly an OOTA attempt towards the pit.

My wheels are all even and aligned whilst SB is not so that could give him a delay in turning even though he has a good traction stat. His front wheels however are a good target so that’s something to aim for too.

Powerdrive has a bigger and slightly broader chassis with bigger wheels compared to Speed Bison’s small size so I can also utilize the size difference and attempt to escape Bison’s pushing attacks. Once I escape the push, immediately counter attack SB.

Speed Bison’s weapon is not actually that powerful and takes time to move up and down following his entire chassis which also move upwards when doing so.

if that’s the case, then that would possibly buy my opponent time to get back into a levelled ground clearance, so I’ll use his weakness to my advantage by trying to force a driving error or mistake on my opponent. Get near the exposed front quickly and hit him head right on with my weapon if I'm quite close to SB's frontwhilst his scoop is lifted.

Keep on pressurizing Speed Bison during the match! Good luck and may the best robot win.

Late, fuck. If you are feeling generous give this RP some consideration. Otherwise it's my own fault.

Using the forks.

Speed Bison has both a speed and control advantage over Powerdrive, and enough armor that it won't take any damage from the spinner. My strategy will be to aggressively take Powerdrive on forks-first: from the side if I can, but from the front is acceptable too. Powerdrive's wedgelets will slide between the forks, and the forks will slide under Powerdrive's chassis and weapon. When the spinner makes contact, the forks being under Powerdrive will keep Bison from getting launched, or at least greatly reduce it.

I'll keep on pressuring Powerdrive, getting to it before it can spin up and/or pushing it from the side/rear when I can. My goal is to push it into the arena drums, but I'll settle for the spikes if I can't get there at a given moment. I'll make sure not to give Powerdrive an opportunity to line up a shot that sends Bison into the pit.
