Night Jackal III vs OmniCrap

Post by Botomatic1000 » Sat Jul 20, 2019 6:42 pm

Night Jackal III: Speed: 4 Traction: 2 Torque: 1 Weapon: 16 Armour: 7
OmniCrap: Speed: 8
Traction: 7
Torque: 3
Weapon: 5 (3 bottom lifter / 3 top lifter / 3 flamethrower)
Armor: 7
Armor Config:
Weapon: 2 (1 bottom lifter / 1 top lifter / 1 flamethrower)
Armor: 10(+3 wedge(forks, plow or hammer blocker wedge))
OmniCrap has not declared his config, therefore I win by default
Alas, start off upside down, spin up, aim my hits slightly at an angle to get at his vulnerable sides, tear the shit out of him, even if I win by ff I wanna tear him up some. Always face him with my blade, always be spinning up.
Best of luck.

Guess what, 4th horizontal deathspinner in a row, meaning that i will yet again use the high armor anti spinner plow. One day i will get to actually use a weapon.

I am twice as fast, have a lot more torque and better control with strafing to boot.
I can tank the weapon and shock damage shouldn't be too bad but damage is still something to avoid.
I can move in any direction without turning so i want to have my plow facing the spinner no mater what, moving in any direction or whatever, if i can tell what direction he is going to turn i can angle the plow a bit in that direction.
Play normal wedge strats like box rush, shoving my high armor plow into the spinner, pushing it towards the walls, lots of aggression, pinning down to make time, do stuff with the flames, etc.
If he is facing me with his side or something like that, it's typical bait, just circle strafe and make sure my wedge gets hit right dead center as to avoid getting hit on anything important.
His design is an undercutter but if i flip him he isn't going to be as effective and i can possibly even push him from under his weapon, so i want to flip him, likely using my lifters while i have him pinned down, and then try to keep NJ that way.
Watch out for stuff like bait, gyro or any driving tricks, don't do mistakes, get a ton of aggression going and don't let the spinner get to full power, GL HF.
