He's almost certainly starting wedge-first to prevent a rush. even if he doesn't, rushing him is irrelevant, since he literally can't damage my front lol he might also try climbing over my front and striking at my 8 armored top, which is why I put the hammer blockers on. I'll struggle with wedging under him a bit, but I should be able to angle in on it most of the time. always take it carefully though in those scenarios, though.

Start out and stay aggressive, but at minimum speed. if he's...

leading with weapon: lol. smother, escort to hazards. watch for him to try some sorta melarky with flanking or using the weapon to climb over me or something. if he does try to climb over me I have a lifter and can punish it.

leading with wedge: angle in at an angle that will let the spinner hit the wedge (and not wrap around it) when his body starts rotating. smother weapon, take to hazards. If I ride up the wedge, angle into the rotation of the blade. I'll get knocked away still, but that's actually good because it means I'll reset without taking damage.

only shift into MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE when slamming him into walls or hazards or whatever if his weapon isn't on.

This is mostly about being as aggressive as possible while protecting my rear from his janky-ass weapon assembly deal. if I can thread that balance, I dominate him.
