Some piece of shit I made a few months ago and never posted. It's like that douchebag in the trailerpark who thinks he's so metal because he listens to Lamb of God and maybe has some of the lyrics tattooed poorly on his arm. There's about a 40 chance he'll have a barbed wire tattoo around one of his...

The war on wedges begins. It should've happened ages ago. I guess I'll toss some robots in. Maybe I'll actually make a cluster. As for the hammer and saw thing, Alex is just salty because Justice won't be able to fire its hammers twice per second or something dumb like that, and because you're appro...

Aight finally writing this. So somehow his stats are different from RB2. Kinda cheap. Also, I have no idea what configuration he's using. I match him for drivetrain but my robot isn't huge and awkward, so I'll probably turn faster. I also have the better wedge, given that it's a 2WD deal. Basically,...

It should be pretty obvious to people what this is and what it does.

9 Speed / 9 Traction / 3 Torque / 9 Armour (+2 Armoured Belt) / 0 Weapon

Let's ban rammers

Fair point. Then we need to write in seams in floors, which are a thing. If we can reflect the irl meta better, than I'm all for it. Also, I think that hinged skirts have been kind of undervalued on ARC.

Hellhound scared you so bad you needed a shell to hide in? :P

When are you gonna learn that you can run, but you can't hide? ...Actually, you can't run either.

Seriously tho, it looks good. I've got something in the works to hopefully beat it.

Let's ban rammers

I group them under the same broad category: robots that use a wedge and drivetrain to control fights. An actuated wedge makes a difference, sure, but overall, that build philosophy is broadly similar and has been shown to work.

Let's ban rammers

So much QQ lol. Look at the current irl meta, aside from the retarded BB rules, there are two dominant types (or it's evolving that way): rammers and VS with feeding wedges. Big HS are viable if they have a good draw. That's about it. Everything else is made for the love of building, not to actually...

Robot Bastards 2: The New Era - Discussion

Good to see Hoarfrost and Hellhound doing what they're built to do. I have a feeling it's going to be one of those seasons for Meanstreak. People just don't have any confidence in a high-speed, low-armour control spinner. I should've learned from the old HWR's example. As far as Hellhound's bonus go...

Brick vs spinner. My plow can tank her hits and she has no wedge. Full speed box rush and watch for her to try to whip her blade around using gyro forces or matador me. Don
