The 9 Year Anniversary of Advanced Robot Combat

On September 11th, ARC celebrated 9 years as a community, originally forming in 2002, exactly one year after the 9/11 attacks.

As a celebration of both the organization and its members, the staff has decided to resurrect the original web domain of "advancedrobotcombat", laying to rest five years of "drowningcity". With any luck, ARC will see many more years to come.

Welcome to Advanced Robot Combat!

After six years under the name Drowning City, the Advanced Robot Combat website has been resurrected with a new format. As a small but dedicated community, ARC continues to function as a source for discussion and competition in nearly all aspects of robotic combat.
